They contacted her to let her know he was presumed dead. I've read the 1st and 2nd volumes and thoroughly enjoyed both. Lots of twists and turns to keep one not only interested but also anxiously awaiting the next volume to see what happens to the characters in the story.
Read the first book of the series for free and the storyline was so good I bought the next book immediately after I completed reading the first. Now I'm ready to buy that next in the series.
Did not realize this book is never ending or I never would have bought the first two. Come on already! Land the p!ane!I will not but any more from this author. She just rambles on and on and never wraps it up! Would not reccommend!
These books have been fun to read. They keep you interested and wanting to read more. I like that there is no profanity or bad violence. I would recommend to anyone who likes mystery's. And I like the fact that I can get them for my kindle at a reasonable price.
I've finished the first two books in this series in two days. The first annoyed me because of the grammatical errors, and stilted wrting but obviously the story was appealing enough to get me to this book. I noticed the same writing style in this book but if you can look past that, this is an interesting suspenseful love story that I found to be intriguing.
The minute I finished reading book 1 in this series, I went to the book store and bought book 2! I wouldn't have been able to sleep if I hadn't. That is how much I am enjoying this series. It is just full of human interest, interesting characters, and places of beauty that i can 'see' as I read the book. The setting is unusual, but so interesting. I want to see what direction the lives of Catherine, Alex, Doug, and the rest of the characters goes.
I really liked book one and downloaded book two as soon as I finished it. I am sorry to say that was quite disappointed. Story line was o.k. but there was to much of rehashing book number one. Now I don't want to spend my money on three or even four. I may go to the last one because I believe that I can get caught up with just that one. Sorry but I did not need to re-read. I would recommend this series but you could skip book one and start with book two and then see how you feel about going to the next book.
